It is with profound sadness that we share the news that John Lewis has passed away.

John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, whose kindness, humour, generosity and unwavering love for those around him touched countless lives. Whether you knew him through his work, his friendships, or simply through a chance meeting, you were likely to leave with a smile and a story to tell.

To John, there were no strangers.. Whether you knew him for five minutes or twenty years, he had a remarkable way of making you feel like an old friend. His laughter, generosity, quick wit and genuine interest in others were qualities that defined him, and they are the things we will remember most.

His loss leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him, but the memories he created will remain with us forever.
